Hey Gang,
You know when you first meet people and you just hit it off from the start? Well this was certainly the case here! Even though I had met Kim a few years ago, I haven’t seen her since her sister’s wedding but just like old friends we picked up where we left off. Now in the case of Junior, this was the first time I actually got to meet him but anyone that knows him knows how much of a stand up guy he really is! He has a way of making people feel so comfortable and welcome – I LOVE this guy!! *lol* Ok, enough about Junior and I, lets get to the real love story! *wink*
In 2005, Kim was finishing law school and was speaking with a childhood friend and fellow lawyer in Sault Ste. Marie. He offered to put her in contact with his former law school roommate, Junior, who was a lawyer in Toronto. Kim and Junior spoke a couple of times by phone about Toronto law firms but never actually met in person. Kim ended up joining another law firm in Toronto and three years later, the same friend from Sault Ste. Marie was coming to Toronto for a work related dinner and invited both Kim and Junior to attend. Kim and Junior hit it off and at the end of the night, Junior walked Kim home and asked her if she would like to get together again. Exactly one week later, they had their first date and have been together ever since. This past summer, after attending a friend’s wedding in France, Kim and Junior went on to spend a week in Italy together. On the last night of their vacation, they had a late dinner and were wandering the streets of Trastevere, Rome complete with wine in hand. Eventually, they were the last two left in the Piazza Santa Maria and Junior surprised Kim by asking her to marry him. She was thrilled and of course, said “Yes”!!
Knowing that they both wanted a small, intimate wedding, they decided on a destination wedding at the Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, Florida.

Hey Gang,

Here’s our You+me from Kim & Jr’s wedding I shot last month in Miami. It’s clear from the photos below I felt a true “connection” with my couple. Come to think of it, my photos always turn out better when were having a good time. Im not sure what it is? Maybe its the comfort level between us or maybe a collaboration of creative geniuses at work! *wink* Whatever the case I had a blast at this wedding as I do with all my couples.
